This week: Click, Clack, Moo

This week in Grade 2 we will be doing the usual, practicing grammar, vocabulary, spelling, reading, and writing. Our story for this week in Journeys is Click, Clack, Moo by Doreen Cronin. We read Diary of a Fly earlier this year by Doreen Cronin. Her "duck books" like Click, Clack, Moo are the same brand of over-the-top silliness that rely heavily and great illustrations to deliver the story. I know the children will love it. At the end of the week students will be focusing on story structure and learning how to write well-organized stories. Later this month they will be writing their first of three stories this year. Below is the weekly handout sheet for this week. We will have a spelling test at the end of the week. Please remind your child to study the spelling words and help them review the vocabulary words as well.
