Week 1: It's all about the JN

Hi everyone! We had our first class today, and aside from learning the rules and expectations, it was all about the JN. We learned about the activity and chose our countries. Head to the JN website to learn who is representing whom in the JN this year. Our first two classes will be like this. Over the next two weeks, you should be working on the following things.

First, read up in the JN, especially if you are new to the class. All information can be found on the About the JN page on the JN Website. You can start trying your hand at some current events any time. I'm standing by for the first ones.

Next, you should begin work on the JN Country Presentation. The assignment is posted below. Research your country, make a presentation like this one, and prepare a poster to display and present to the class. Presentations will be in 2 weeks.

Finally, if you have time, you can work on the JN Scavenger Hunt Worksheet for some extra credit. I passed this out in class, but you can also download it and fill out here.
