First week, first assignments

The 2013-2014 Middle School class is off and running. Today, we learned about each other, what is expected of is in class this year, what we will be learning all year, and all about the Joined Nations. To review the information from those presentations, see the slideshows below.

The calendar and other important class information were passed out during class. Please check the calendar every week to see what your homework is for the week. This week, you each should be researching your JN country for the Joined Nations Country assignment that we will be working on next Saturday. Please click the link to view the assignment. Feel free to get a head start.

Another assignment you can work on this week is the JN Scavenger Hunt for 5 RP. All you need to do is open the document and either download it, print it, or make a copy (File-->Make a copy) of it, complete the worksheet and then email it to me, share it with me on Drive (jbrunken@happykidsschool.com.tw), or turn it in to me in class. You will need to read through the information on the JN Website to be able to answer many of these questions.
