An imagined future

Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 as an imagined future from his perspective in the 1950s. Take a look at the world today: our technology, our culture, our problems, our governments. What do you imagine the world will look like in 50 or 100 years? Will things get better or worse? How will we live? What will have changed?
Our next assignment challenges you to write a short story or the beginning of a story that describes what you feel will be our future world. Please give your description in the form of a narrative (story), not a simple description. This will make your account more interesting, and we will get to see how characters interact with this world you imagine. Assignment sheet is posted below.
